Routine yearly vaccinations provide a vital defence for your animal from some potentially life-threatening diseases. Exactly which vaccinations your pet needs will depend on what species they are, as well as some lifestyle factors for specific species. We always recommend keeping your pet's annual vaccinations up to date - and when you bring them in to us for their boosters we'll also give your pet a free health check, helping us to make sure that we keep up with any ongoing or new conditions that your furry friend may have!

When you book your animal in for surgery here at Heath Lodge we'll provide you with a copy of our 'Pre-Operative Instructions', detailing everything you need to know before you bring your pet to us. These will include any specific advice for your pet regarding medication and feeding, as well as any other deviations from our standard guidelines that your vet advises to accommodate your particular animal's needs. There is also a general copy of these instructions at the bottom of this page, but if you have any further questions at all give our friendly reception team a call and they'll confirm everything you need to know!
